Effective March 21, 2015, "K" Line will amend our RORO export tariff to exclude the payment of compensation to forwarders for exempt RORO cargo moving under tariff KKLU132.
The payment by Carrier of compensation to Licensed Freight Forwarders is governed by the provisions of the Shipping Act of 1984 as amended and 46 C.F.R. Part 515. Unless otherwise agreed in a filed service contract, Carrier will pay compensation in connection with non-exempt cargo only, based on destination port country as a percentage of the basic ocean freight.
