HM232 Hazardous Materials Security and Safety

"K" Line America, Inc. is in compliance with HM 232 as published on
March 25, 2003 by U.S. Department of Transportation.
1)
The HM 232 requires that offerors of "Certain Dangerous Goods"
[as defined by DOT] will ensure security plans are made for each modal transport.
"K" Line does not carry most of those defined. For the commodities
that meet the definition, we have established specific security and safety plans.
"K" Line has also communicated the DOT requirements to our vendors
for their compliance as well.

The HM 232 also requires a new componenet to the HAZMAT General Awareness Training
requirement. The new component is for HAZMAT General Security Awareness.
"K" Line America has a training program in place and our employees
have been trained and certified in accordance with the new regulation.
