The term "Bill of Lading" in this Rule includes "Waybill."

This fee will be applicable to all Bills of Lading. Documentation Fee must be received by Carrier before issuance of a Bill of Lading. (Exception: Documentation Fee can be paid on collect basis if, prior to issuance, Carrier receives written agreement from Consignee to pay the Fee on a collect basis).

In order to recover amounts paid to railroads in connection with the railroads' agreements with the Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority to assist in recovering the costs of constructing and operating the Alameda Corridor, all cargo moving through the ports of Los Angeles or Long Beach that is transported by rail through or into Southern California (i.e., the counties of Kern, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, and Imperial), whether or not actually carried over the Alameda Corridor, shall be subject to a charge in the following amounts:

This charge will be included on the bill of lading and will be paid by the cargo interest before release of the cargo to the consignee.

Exception for Service Contract Cargo: Effective May 1, 2001, Chassis Usage Charge will apply to cargo moving under reefer service contracts unless otherwise specified.

Chassis Usage Charge for cargo moving under dry service contracts postponed until further notification {minimum 30 day notice}.

Chassis usage for the day of interchange plus five (5) working days, ie, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: (Refer to KKLU-147 Rules Tariff - Rule No: 10-X for specific notes and detail)

USD 40 per chassis /per container

Applies for Dry and Refrigerated cargo in Standard and Specialized Equipment. Unless otherwise specified, all shipments rated under this tariff or otherwise governed by this tariff shall be subject to FAF.
