“K” Line to Implement Winter Program
on Asia- Mexico/West Coast South America Service
January 9, 2009 - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line) today announced a winter program on their service linking Asia and Mexico/West Coast South America.
“K” Line presently operates two loops of weekly service (called “NEW ANDES”), jointly with Mitsui O.S.K Lines, and their second loop, which is operated by 8 x 1700TEU vessels, will be temporarily suspended for about six months period from this February.
During the period of suspension, “K” Line will still maintain two sailings a week with their first loop of NEW ANDES and CEX service, operated by CCNI and Hamburg Süd, offering quality service to their customers.
