CKYH Reshuffles Asia-North Europe Services

November 15, 2007 -CKYH Alliance (Coscon, “K” Line, Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping) are pleased to announce restructuring of its Asia-European routes by rearranging port rotations, upgrading vessels ranging up to 10,000 TEU, and inaugurating 2 more services. This will further enhance ability of CKYH to provide their customers with more frequent calling schedules in Asia side and more vessel space as the cargo demand from Asia to North Europe is steadily growing.

Meanwhile, CKYH, being the world's largest alliance, continues to seek ways to better satisfy their customers' needs. Details of service pattern are as below ;

Loop 1

Port Rotation: Shanghai - Ningbo - Xiamen - Hong Kong - Nansha - Singapore - Rotterdam - Hamburg - Antwerp - Singapore - Hong Kong - Shanghai

Vessel Deployed: 9,000/10,000TEU X 8 (COSCON)

Loop 2

Port Rotation: Shanghai - Ningbo - Kaohsiung - Port Kelang - Colombo - Hamburg - Rotterdam - Le Havre - Colombo - Port Kelang - Hong Kong - Shanghai

Vessel Deployed: 5,500 TEU X 8 (HJS)

Loop 3

Port Rotation: Xingang - Kwangyang - Pusan - Yantian - Singapore - Hamburg - Rotterdam - Felixstowe - Singapore - Kaohsiung - Xingang

Vessel Deployed: 5,500/6,500 TEU X 8 (HJS)

Loop 4

Port Rotation: Dalian - Xingang - Qingdao - Yantian - Hong Kong - Felix s towe - Hamburg - Rotterdam - Nansha - Dalian

Vessel Deployed: 8,000/ 10 ,000TEU X 8 (COSCON)

Loop 5

Port Rotation: Shanghai - Ningbo - Xiamen - Kaohsiung - Yantian - Singapore - Rotterdam - Hamburg - Felixstowe - Antwerp - Singapore - Kaohsiung - Shanghai

Vessel Deployed: 7,500/8,000TEU X 8 (“K” LINE, YM)

Loop 6

Port Rotation: Kobe - Nagoya - Tokyo - Hong Kong - Singapore - Port Said - Rotterdam - Felixstowe - Le Havre - Port Said - Singapore - Yantian - Kobe

Vessel Deployed: 5,500TEU X 8 (“K” LINE, YM)

Loop 7

Port Rotation: Qingdao - Xingang - Shanghai - Shekou - Singapore - Jeddah - Port Said - Thamesport - Antwerp - Rotterdam - Jeddah - Singapore - Qingdao

Vessel Deployed: 4 ,300TEU X 4 (“K” LINE, YM)

Remark: Loop 7 will be further upgraded to 8000TEU vessels scale in 2008/2009.

Loop 8

Port Rotation: Qingdao - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Singapore - Jeddah - Hamburg - Antwerp - Le Havre - Jeddah - Singapore - Qingdao

Vessel Deployed: 4,000~6,900TEU X 8 (HJS, UASC)
