CKYH Alliance to Rearrange European Routes
December 22, 2006 - TOKYO, Japan - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. Following the alteration
of its routes in November, CKYH Alliance (Coscon, K Line, Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping) is set for
another rearrangement of the European routes in January 2007 to further improve joint operations and
service efficiency.
Changed European routes will eliminate overlapping service links of the member carriers to reduce
transit time and boost schedule reliability. The members of CKYH Alliance will also be able to
exchange their slots more effectively.
The changed service routes and call ports are as follows:
- NCX /AE1 (North China Express Service) - New service routes :

- AEX /AE2 (Asia Europe Express Service) - New service routes :

* Eastbound Port Kelang, Malaysia newly included
- FEX /AE3 (Far East Europe Express Service) - New service routes:

* Two Asian ports, Kaohsiung and Chiwan, newly included

CKYH Alliance members will provide more diversified and stable service to the customers
