“K” Line Launches Asia-Gulf of Aden and Red Sea Service

July 24, 2006 - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line) will launch a weekly container service connecting Asia with Gulf of Aden and Red Sea in August 2006 through cooperation with Pacific International Lines Pte Ltd. (PIL). This new service will meet fast growing demand from Asia, especially China , to Gulf of Aden and Red Sea market.

Ports of call will be as follows:

Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Hong Kong - Singapore - Colombo - Aden - Jeddah - Aqaba - Sokhna - Aden - Singapore - Shanghai

“K” Line has recently appointed new agencies for its liner services in Jordan (National Shipping Services, Co. Ltd.) and Yemen (Sharaf Shipping Agencies Co.).
