“K” Line (China) Ltd. Opens Nanjing Branch and Fuzhou Office

January 12, 2006 -Tokyo, Japan. Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) is delighted to announce that its affiliated company “K” Line (C hina ) L td . has opened their branch office in Nanjing and Liaison office in Fuzhou from 1st January 2006.

“K” LINE previously had Representative office in Nanjing, but in view of more promising business circumstances in this area, it was decided to upgrade its status from a Representative office to a Branch, ie. “K” Line (China) Ltd. Nanjing Branch.

By this change, “K” Line (China) Ltd. will be improving its capability to provide a full range of services including receiving booking, issuing B/Ls, collecting ocean freight and any other charges concerned, fixing Service Contracts and etc. in Nanjing area.

“K” Line (China) Ltd. has also located an additional Liaison Office in Fuzhou and with these Branch and Liaison Offices, “K” L INE will greatly reinforce its ability to provide upgraded service to customers there and better satisfy the growing market demand with a more intensified service network having the following 1 9 bases located in China:
