“K” Line Group company Ka Fung starts utilizing
Winged Trailers in Guangdong Province

Februay 14, 2007 - TOKYO, Japan - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) - A group company of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line) named “Ka Fung” has started utilizing Winged Trailers among their trucking fleet in the Guangdong Province which is an additional service of Ka Fung's container trucking and break-bulk lorry services operated by its wholly-owned international forwarding company “Shenzhen Jia Feng Shipping Co., Ltd.” since June 2005.

Shenzhen Jia Feng Shipping Co., Ltd. has 30 self-owned tractors as well as chassis, 10 units of break bulk lorries and 2 newly-lined-up units of Winged Trailers. Utilization of the Winged Trailers is to further cater to the various needs of customers in trucking services with a higher level of efficiency in loading and unloading by having doors that open on both sides. As a result, delivery time will also be shortened. Winged Trailers have bonded registration which enables the handling of bonded cargoes and are also capable of performing milk run services.

In line with this further development of logistics services by “K” Line's Group company in Guangdong Province, Ka Fung is confident of becoming a full-swing service provider with its self-owned high-quality trucking fleet both in container trucking and break-bulk lorry trucking as well as with the new Winged Trailers, all installed with GPS devices.
