COSCON, “K” Line and Hanjin Upgrade
South China/Middle East Express Service (SMX)

Februay 13, 2007 - TOKYO, Japan - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) Current South China/Middle East express service (SMX) is operated through joint partnership with C OSCON , “K” L ine and Hanjin. The SMX partners recogniz ing the growing demand of trade between Asia and Abu Dhabi will be enhancing the calling ports to include direct calling at Abu Dhabi in SMX service with effect ive February 22, 2007.

The new port rotation is Yantian (Thu / Thu) – Hong Kong (Thu / Fri) – Singapore (Mon/Tue) – Dubai, Jebel Ali (Wed/Thu) – Abu Dhabi (Thu/Fri) – Bandar Abbas (Fri/Sat) – Singapore (Sun/Sun) – Yantian (Thu/Thu).

The upgraded SMX will provide fast and reliable service to shippers with a transit time of 12 days, 13 days and 14 days between South China and Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bandar Abbas respectively which will offer one of the fastest in the market.
