Continued transport of hazardous materials in DOT Specification 51, IM 101 and IM 102 portable tanks no longer authorized in accordance with the “T Codes” and associated special provisions in effect in the HMR on September 30, 2001 (pre-Docket No. HM-215D).

Organic Peroxide labels

Continued use of Division 5.2 (“ORGANIC PEROXIDE”) labels, and, except for transportation by highway, placards meeting the HMR specifications in effect on December 31, 2006, no longer authorized as an alternative to Division 5.2 labels/placards conforming to the specifications as revised by the Docket No. HM-215I final rule.

UN Number must be the 1st item in the basic shipping description per IMDG - including USA "domestic" shipments

 Deadline for US Domestic Shipper compliance with Docket No. HM-215I final rule.   “UN Number” must be 1st in the sequence for elements for basic description on shipping papers: EX: UN1263, Paint, Class 3, PG II ( same as IMDG format)
