Wal-Mart Global Transportation presents “K” Line with Award

June 25, 2007 - Wal-Mart presented its 2006 “Ocean Carrier of the Year” award to Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” Line) during their Wal-Mart Direct Imports Conference 2007 at Wal-Mart's home office in Bentonville , Arkansas on May 23, 2007. The award was accepted by Nobuo Ishida, Senior Vice President of “K” Line America , Inc, and David Xiao, Group Vice president of “K” Line America , Inc.

“ “K” Line is honored to be named Wal-Mart's “Ocean Carrier of the Year for the consecutive second year since 2005”, said Toshio Suzuki, President of “K” Line America, Inc. It has demonstrated “K” Line's commitment to “Wal-Mart Stores.” “Our associates around the globe really made difference!”, said Mr. Suzuki.

Wal-Mart cited “K” Line for their cooperation and consistent high level of quality service around the globe. “K” Line also won this award in 2005.
